It contains the active ingredient diclofenac, which belongs to a family of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It also contains lecithin, a penetration enhancer that interacts with the lipids of the skin by breaking fat cells and taking the active ingredient into the affected area.
