General Information ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Paracetamol 48 mg/mL USES: For the temporary relief of fever and pain associated with: • Headache • Earache • Symptoms of Cold and Flu • Teething • Immunisation Warnings Do not: • exceed the recommended dose except on advice of your doctor • use with other products containing paracetamol unless advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist. While using this product: • if an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 131 126) or go to a hospital straight away even if the child is feeling well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. This product contains 9 g maltitol and 13 g sorbitol per 52 mL (maximum recommended daily dose) which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea in some people. This is more likely if several products containing sorbitol or related substances are consumed simultaneously. This product also contains hydroxybenzoates, saccharin, sorbates, sulfites and 3 mg/mL elemental sodium. Directions AGE AVERAGE WEIGHT DOSE 5 to 6 years 18 to 20 kg 6 mL 6 to 7 years 20 to 22 kg 6 to 7 mL 7 to 8 years 22 to 25 kg 7 to 8 mL 8 to 9 years 25 to 28 kg 8 to 9 mL 9 to 10 years 28 to 32 kg 9 to 10 mL 10 to 11 years 32 to 36 kg 10 to 11 mL 11 to 12 years 36 to 41 kg 11 to 13 mL Or as directed by your doctor. • Shake bottle before use. • Administer in water or fruit juice if necessary every 4 to 6 hours as required, not more than 4 times in 24 hours. • Keep to the recommended dose. Do not take this medicine for longer than 48 hours at a time unless advised to by a doctor. • Recommended dosages are based on 15 mg of paracetamol per kg of body weight. • For children above 41 kg, use dose at 15 mg of paracetamol per kg of body weight. OTHER INFORMATION: Store below 25°C. Do not use if neck seal is torn or broken. Child resistant cap fitted. In the interest of safety, please ensure the child resistant cap is engaged by tightening the cap and then turning it backwards until a clicking sound is heard.
